Our Construction department in Constanta, Romania is looking for a Project Assistant (m/f) to support the construction project team in all activities related to wind power plants project planning and execution.Responsibilities
• Produces and manages documentation according to the current guidelines for erected wind turbines
• Actively supports the Project Manager and Site Manager in organization, execution and invoicing of wind turbine projects
• Processing incoming  and outgoing invoices, service reports and delivery notes
• Maintains and manages databases, as well as produces and releases orders and incoming goods transactions
• Coordinates meetings and business trips
• Calls and coordinates suppliers and subcontractors
• Requisition of all relevant materials for the execution of projects
Qualifications
• Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in a similar role
• Completed commercial or technical education
• Multitasking skills and stress resistant
• Well-developed communication and networking skills
• System and process approach to solving problems, analytical mindset and ability to work with data
• Very good MS Office skills and experience with ERP-Software, preferably SAP
• Very good English and Romanian language skillsWhat we offer

Department

Vestas Central Europe, as one of the well-established business units, is responsible for all sales, construction and service related activities in Germany, Switzerland, Benelux, Austria, most countries in Central and Eastern Europe and South-East Africa. Our Service department in Bucharest, Romania is looking for a Service Assistant . The Service Department is responsible for the smooth running of our customer’s wind farms, ensuring the highest levels of performance from each turbine for its entire lifespan. It works to ensure that the turbines are operational to their maximum capacity, delivering the best possible energy yield for customers. As such, the team is key to maintaining long-term customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:

Assisting the Service Department in daily activities by:
• Placement of orders to external suppliers for the smooth running of the daily activity on the field
• Processing of requisitions, orders and invoices, follow up on the delivery of the products/ services and performing of the payment approval into the system (goods receipt), as well as follow up with the financial department on due payments
• Setting up of Vendors opening (gathering documents, filling specific templates and support for the Procurement Department)
• Organizing the training plan for the service technicians and logistic support (searching for available seats, settling of the training periods according to trainers and technicians availability, travel arrangements)
• Drawing up of miscellaneous documents (advance payment forms, Power of attorney, draft contracts, translations, reports or database)
• Up-date of different database (employees’ time schedules and vacation, Auto Travel database, miscellaneous environmental reports etc.)
• Checking of the material consumption and closing the service orders, submitting them further to financial approval
• Issue, saving and listing of the Service Reports for local customers
• Distribution of correspondence
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Economic/Administrative studies/ education
- 3 years of working experience in a similar position
- Experience in customer handling

- Knowledge of MS Office and ERP-systems, ideally SAP
-Good command in written and spoken Romanian and English

Vestas Central Europe, as one of the well-established business units, is responsible for all sales and service related activities in Germany, Switzerland, Benelux, Austria, most countries in Central and Eastern Europe and South-East Africa. We are looking for Sustainability Specialist (Health and Safety, Environment and Corporate Social Responsibility) for our growing team in Romania.
Responsibilities:
Field activities in offices, warehouses, construction and service sites (60% of total work time)
• Lead implementation at country level of local Sustainability legal requirements, Vestas Central Europe and local Sustainability strategy
• Creation of local Sustainability documents – Risk assessments, Health and Safety plans, Emergency response plans
• Follow up of contractors/subcontractors including mobilization/demobilization, post-work assessment and audits when needed
• Perform Sustainability trainings - Basic safety training, Rescue from heights, Ergonomics, Electrical safety training
• Responsible to provide expertise and support in incident and hazardous observation investigation and root cause analysis
• Participation in the selection of the external Health and Safety (HSE) resource and managing them during construction
• Coordinate Emergency response drills and exercises
• Participate in incident control duties during major accidents or emergencies
• Perform site visits and inspections
• Lead and/or be involved in the Sustainability committees according to legal and Vestas requirements
Sustainability country Focal point (25% of total work time)
• Actively support the development and realization of a “Zero Incident” Culture.
• Responsible to provide support and collaboration on Sustainability matters related to the country
• Country Sustainability management representative
• Define and review of local Sustainability legal requirements and local Sustainability strategy
• Define local Sustainability specifications for contractors/subcontractors,
• Technical review of global Sustainability documents
• Guide and mentor the organization in Sustainability activities
• Participation in tender processes (preparation of Sustainability documentation) and contract review from Sustainability perspective
• Focal point for Sustainability issues for authorities, community, customers, subcontractors and Vestas Central Europe Sustainability
• Assist with various tasks contributing to staff organization
Reporting and sustainability management system (15% of total work time)
• Reporting to Vestas Central Europe Sustainability and preparation of the monthly, quarterly and yearly Sustainability report
• Perform and follow up internal audits and be the local contact for Vestas Central Europe, Corporate and external audits
• Responsible for development, supervision, and compliance enforcement of effective Sustainability management systems across the country
• Develops and support implementation of processes and procedures, including hearing processes
Qualifications:

• University Degree in a technical area and/or Environmental Engineering
• Knowledge of Romanian legislation in the field of Health and Safety
• Certification as Health and Safety Specialist
• Certification as Safety Risk Assessor
• At least 5 years of work experience within Sustainability in an international work environment
• Proficiency in Romanian and English
• IRCA Lead auditor in ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 would be an advantage

• In-depth knowledge of Sustainability standards and best practices, quality ISO standards, concepts, processes and procedures
• High expertise in contractor/subcontractor Sustainability management, including mobilization/demobilization, pre-qualification requirements and post-work assessment
• Expertise in hazard jobsite assessment/analysis/solution, risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Development/implementation of processes and procedures, including comprehensive Health and Safety Plans
• Conducting inspections and audits
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to travel to sites across the region is required
